Any Car Injury specilaists here?

I understand there are some personaly injury specialists here. I have been involved in a car accident and don't want to use my own insurance company to persue this (for various reasons).

Anyone want to PM me their details or reccommend a website?

  • Go by recommendation by someone you know.

I don't blame you for not wanting to use your insurance company - they sell your claim on for up to 800 pounds.

    its up to you.

Claim directly of the TPI for injuries ( esp good if you want a quick settlement, but you will have to deal with the claim yourself)

Go see a solicitor (but be prepared may have to go for medical exams, which arnt the nicest experiance in the world - good as they will deal with the claim for you).

More than likely you will get loads of calls from different companies, as brokers, garages, even insurers all pass on your info for a 'kickback' fee.

Be very careful to chcek what you are liable for.

Some firms e.g. helphire, tell people they will get all the costs off the third party and the small print says that you have to pay if this is not possible.
Some people have been stuck with large bills for expensive car hire after not reading the small print.

If liablity is settled then you are safe, but if liability is not settled then make sure you acquaint yourself with what you are signing up to and don't just believe the sales person when they say it won't cost you anything.
There are real cases where people have been caught out by this.

I work as an injury claims technician and as such would advice you to seek legal advise. Unless you have an insurance or legal background, I would not pursue a claim on a private basis. How do you know what a claim is worth?
