I just had a look at the 'Trends Research Institute' website. It advertises itself as being useful to corporate clients. Then a bloke (presumably their guru) appeared in a corner saying that the sub prime crisis was indicitive of the foundations cracking in the economy and that the whole edifice would collapse like the world trade centre. I am afraid I can't plan my personal situation to take account of this disaster scenario, not sure how his corporate clients can either. Call it scare mongering if you will or just a rather pessismistic analysis of the problems we face, I don't know, but am carrying on with my life anyway.0

Did he really say that if the Yanks drop interest rates then the USD will drop through the floor?
Gerald Celente: Dollar will Fall 90 Percent
His predictions for the first few months of last year
We are confronting “dollar plummeting hysteria, monumental levels of debt, foreclosure, bankruptcy, unemployment, energy depletion, skyrocketing gas and food prices, illnesses treated without health insurance coverage—or just not treated, unprecedented levels of homelessness, and by all indications, within a few months into 2008

PENSIONS:cool:It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

Only if they're old enough to develop a 20 a day habit...
Whatever happens to the financial climate it's not going to just stop (unless it's that bad and we are trading in whisky and chocs) so everyone will just going to have to ride it out and hope we've prepared sufficiently. I've found most of the articles written seem to have a lot of scaremongering in them.0
