I bought 6 plants from Lidl last year, I think they were about £2.
They flowered last year, had lovely fruit :)

I'm sure they are or will be selling them this year.

My Mr Fothergills Runners (£3.49 for 10) are blooming, all 10 are now big and busy and are starting to flower. They have been outside and had no special care and attention (Just water and Sun)

Dont Give up on them just because they look weak and dead when they arrive they seem to be quite tough little things!! I cant beleive how well they are growing!!

  • My local b&q had them for £6 for a tray of 12, displayed on a large metal stand with wheels. As i was looking at the plants around the other side i noticed a red sticker, so i moved the display stand and there were about 20 trays for £2 each. some had only about 4 plants and some were nearly full.
I picked the best looking plants and bought two trays (£4) and got 23 decent plants.

My Mr Fothergills Runners (£3.49 for 10) wre blooming - now they're being destroyed, every couple of days another one dies and I can't work out why. There's no sign of pests they just wilt and turn brown virtually overnight:(
