I imagine the demand for MJ tickets in the press will be grossly overestimated as it's a well-known marketing tactic. I remember when Prince announced his run at the O2, tickets were announced to have sold out quickly, yet in reality Ticketmaster were still releasing tickets hours before each concert started. I was lucky enough to get tickets for 3 of his dates, and they looked pretty well sold out in the end though. A shame that MJ can't price his tickets as reasonably as Prince did too ...
As previous posters have noted, MJ is quite likely to mime, and unlikely to dance as he did at the peak of his fame, though he'll probably put on quite a 'show' (lights, design, pyros etc). A shame, but then again, who wants to see a 50 year old whooping and grabbing his crotch? _pale_
Anyway, I digress, back to the original point. As tickets sales are likely to be overestimated, fans shouldn't race to eBay/Seatwave etc. to buy tickets at inflated prices (as many Prince fans did), but should instead sit tight and wait for further batches to be released.
Also, if you aren't already, sign up to whatever MJ forums are available. I had a spare ticket to Prince's last night at the O2, and rather than put it on eBay, PM'd a fellow fan on Prince.org, thus ensuring I wasn't out of pocket, and a genuine fan had the seat.
I long for the day they bring in legislation to prevent touts depriving genuine fans buying tickets to events.0 -

Hi Sumeet, I'm not sure how the sale is being organised (online I think) but it starts tomorrow at 7am! My OH will be logging from the minute we get up tomorrow and I am planning on saving the link to my iPhone tonight so I can spend the journey to work tomorrow trying to get some!
I've also not had a code yet, but I'd imagine they will be sent out today.NSDs: 4/50 -

Presale starting on Wednesday at 7am. Anyone received a code yet? I haven't.
Another tip: if you want the best seats go for the least 'attractive' nights, like Tuesday 24th for instance. Reason being all the punters will be desparately trying to get the friday and Saturday night tickets (and certainly the touts will be!), you may waste valuable time trying to get tickets to the 'attractive' nights only to be timed out and then miss the chance to get tickets for the less atractive nights. Result? No tickets at all! If you can get to the venue midweek and wish to be in the best possible seats, then that's what to aim for. HTH.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
When the Presale code is released, will the code work for specific sites only or will it work on ticketmaster and other box office sites?
Thanks.0 -
I too would love to know when and where the presale codes are being used tomorrow. I still haven't recieved my code & neither have any of my family/friends. I have a funny feeling it'll be tonight or today at some point. Although I'm panicking becuase I read in the terms & conditions of the presale when I registered that their is a limit on these codes so not everyone will get one!!!!
Anyone have any further info on what sites/details we need for tomorrows presale other than our presale code will be much appreciated! ThanksGC march £80 budget/£1.67 left

Apparantly the pre-sale codes are not going to be sent out until tonight at 10pm to try and limit people touting them.
From tomorrow morning you can ring (if you can get through!) for tickets if you get a code.
Good luck everybody0
