I was in the local Asda yesterday and some well known brands at reasonable prices - not sure what models they were buy Sony/Panny/Toshiba/Samsung all available in the 32"-40" range, think they were between £400 & £600

bought this after much research for our mother-in-law for £400.
the tv is class, delivery is free and quick to n.i., and the tv even has a memory card slot so you can slide show your photos when you get back from your hols!
Plus panasonic is a quality make.

Thanks for all your responses - they have given me much to think about. I didn't know about Richer Sounds, and if their website is accurate, then it looks like they have some good prices. I will check out their shop this weekend.

I didn't think Amazon delivered big TVs to NI - it's good to know that they do, because their prices are usually quite good as well.

I'll report back if I get any good deals...

Agree with Stevey. We've had two and other biggish stuff del f.o.c., from Amazon - had to return one that was faulty after 11 months - all deliveries/collection/credit went through no prob.

Don't forget to go through cashback, if you are ordering from on-line supplier[not Amazon unfortunately, although I hear murmurs that they are working exclusively with one cashback company now?].

My bad ... not surprised it didn't last long though.
As a trade supplier, we couldn't even buy them at this price.
