Where should i go?

Hey, i want to go on a short holiday for my birthday around april 9th/10th I was thinking of new york, but am starting to think that its not going to happen as i have a budget of about £500...does anyone have any other suggestions of where i could go? Maybe somewhere in europe that's as hot as possible too?

is that budget just for the getting and staying there or is it for the whole time (including spending money)?

if it's just for getting and staying there then you should be able to do new york but also maybe vegas - both would be fab and something special

with the euro being so strong you may find it just too expensive to go to europe so maybe the US maybe a better option

The problem you'll have is that's Easter weekend, so things are likely to be more expensive. If you went the weekend after, say Sat 18th til Tuesday 21st April you could get flights to New York for £300 with BA. Don't know enough about hotels etc when you get there to know if you could do it for under £500
