Does anyone know of a website where I can see the timetables from Glasgow?
I'm trying to organise a trip for my brother to travel from Glasgow to Manchester, but I'm willing to meet him anywhere on the North West to save time and money.
All train website need you to enter the destination, so if anyone's got any suggestions, I'd be very grateful!

The website requires you to input a destination and I hate call centres.
Is there a website, where it gives you all of the destinations and times from a particular station?0 -
I don't know of one - I imagine that it would be too bewildering especially for a place like glasgow that serves so many destinations. I can recommend the German Railway sitewhich is excellent for all of Europe including the UK. http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en
I sholuld have added that this link takes you to the English part of the site.0 -
Why not download the time tables for Virgin trains at
http://www.virgintrains.co.uk/travelling_with_us/our_network/timetables/default.aspx
or First Scotrail at
http://www.firstgroup.com/scotrail/content/travelinfo/index.php
Between them they cover all the trains from Glasgow into England.
Edit
PS. Before I get flamed for only giving part of the answer I've also included GNER timetables at
http://www.gner.co.uk/GNER/Traintimes/NewTimetable/
Didn't include them in first post as you seem more interested in the west coast route.Nice to save.0 -
very thing I'm looking for - thanks! :j0
