Web based inspiration for refurbishing home

Years ago I had loads of books, each on a diffrent room, with sample ideas to copy but I gave all the books to the charity shop.

I wonder is there a web site based version which could show different styles - carpets, curtains, accessories as copying is easier and less mistakes are made. Well by me that is! Rooms like bathrooms, bedroom, dining room, lounge, etc. But not looking to rebuild or spend a fortune.

Bizarre - you can actually choose the items and buy them online. You'll often find the same things cheaper online and you'll save even more if you just shop around for similar items.

the Howdens kitchen brochure is fab with some really nice ideas. It's a substantial book. It's online too but I do find it easier to flick through a book or magazine and then refer back to the bits I like. I tend to forget when I do it online.

Have a look at the forums on https://www.livingetc.com people post up their own houses - some of them are fab!

Thanks Doozergirl, you always give lots of useful tips and links. I've saved that for having a good mooch through later on as our renovation is nearing completion and we have to seriously consider decor now.
