Using Credit Card to pay off Loan HELP!
Comments

Are you intending to repay the balance on any credit card at the same rate you'd pay the loan company? I'd also warn that credit cards seem now to slap on BT fee's -most are capped at it would seem £50 max, also 12 month plus offers seem to be few and far between so you could be looking to swap cards every 6 to 9 months ( 5-8months to get another card up and running before the last 0% period is up).0

If you are sure that you car repay £7K during 9 months, then I think it is worth trying to switch to 0% card. See http://www.stoozing.com/0fees.htm. I don't think you will be able to avoid BT fee though. Mint, MBNA and A&L charge £50 for this. The only way to make a SBT and avoid fee is by using 0% card without the fee (upper part of the list) together with Egg Money card: The Middle Route .PeterJohnson wrote:What about if i find one for a year and I pay back the debt within that time? or 9months thats ok then isnt it?0 -
