HSBC Marker

I do hope someone can help me as I'm at my wits end.
Someone who owed me £10 transferred it to my HSBC account from his Lloyds one by telephone banking. What I didn't realise was that a couple of days later he went to his bank and told them it was a fraudulent transaction and that he had no knowledge of it, (The lying...).
This prompted HSBC to put a marker against my account which stopped me paying some bills due. When I phoned them, they told me I had to go to my local branch and sort it out there. So I went and told them what happened and they said that was fine and that it would get sorted. Because of this, I also deposited my weekly shopping money of £70.
However, a few hours later I couldn't access my Internet banking account, so I phoned again only to be told that it wasn't sorted as it needed to be looked into. I tried to explain that I needed to pay bills or i'd get fines but it all fell on deaf ears. Eventually, they told me to go back to my branch. Unfortunately by that time, it was too late to go. Later on I finally got in touch with the person responsible and he admitted he shouldn't have done what he did, so he phoned Lloyds and explained to them that it was a mistake. Lloyds said that I had to get in touch with HSBC to lift the marker.
This morning, I went back into the branch and got told that head office have sent out a letter to me and my account was frozen despite what this person told Lloyds bank. I told the lady that I didn't feel it fair that they could allow me to deposit £70 in when there was a marker present but not withdraw it and she said her hands were tied.
Now I have hardly any food in the house and I can't do anything.
I feel like I've been made guilty straight away and also feel that they took my £70 when they shouldn't have. Is there anything I can do or am I just going to have to put up with having no money for however long it takes.
Please, any help would be great

Well done for getting it sorted. How come they couldn't of sorted it out before?0

Thats annoying - maybe it is time for another bank account with an unrelated bank for when people want to send you money....:sigh:0

Must be slim pickings in Lloyds' fraud department if they're opening cases for £10...What would William Shatner do?0

I think it had more to do with his so called "mate" telephoning Lloydstsb and saying it was fraud.
Who needs enemies when you have friends like that.0
