  • I was sent an e-mail today from a friend who has a daughter suffering from breast cancer asking me to pass this on to people to help fight breast cancer but at no cost to you.

Please, please visit the site as regularly as you can, you will not incur any cost and it will only take a minute of your time to do this.

Please also feel free to copy and paste this messagean e-mail it to people if you would like to, as the more people who do this, the more people will benefit...........

The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (pink window in the middle).

This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

Among other things, the following website http://www.helpfromhome.org/ lists many ways in which money can be raised for charities for free, from the comfort of your own home. It actually lists other ways in which you can help out charities for free as well. Just check out the 'Charity Volunteer' button near the top of the page.
  • I thought I’d mention that buy.at provide fundraisers with the technology so that they can raise funds through online shopping. To register for a free fundraising website visit buy.at/fundraisers

A free website is offered, you can see an example at buy.at/poppyappeal.

Every time you and your supporters make a purchase via your free website a commission is offered. There is a choice of over 150 retailers so there's plenty for your supporters to choose from.

To sign-up for your FREE webshop please visit buy.at/fundraising.

I just saw those two on the charities forum and I thought that I would put them here.

Email charity http://www.emailcharity.com/ puts a client on your email with a charity banner.

Donatebot http://donatebot.com/ uses the same principle of other grid computer networks but this time it gives money to charity.
  • I have been using www.easyfundraising.org.uk for a while now.

It is free to register with them and there are over 2000 retailers including ebay, amazon, m&s, argos, comet and loads of insurance companies.

It does not cost you a penny to raise money for charity as the money raised is taken from the commission earned via the retailers. There are several hundred charities to choose from as well, from small local charities to the larger more well known ones. I use ebay quite a bit and its amazing how the amounts soon add up.

You can choose to give to just one charity or if you support a couple of different charities you can ring easyfundraising up and arrange for the money raised to be divided between them.

Its a brilliant way to raise money and I just wish I had heard about it sooner.

Everyclick now uses yahoo search which is much better.

    I support Solar-aid on it. http://www.everyclick.com/solaraid/
  • Hi Fundraising,
Interested that you use the same site I have been for a while. Wonder if you would share your experience, as my charity has no record of my monies being received... They can't marry them up from my account and statements they received from Easyfundraising.org.uk.
Am I being overly suspicious? If you are in contact with your cause, it would be interesing if you checked with them if you haven't already?
    Cheers:A Fran
