Isn't it just a free trial program? ???

  • I downloaded it (12MB) and installed. It is the full version but will not run until you go through very difficult registration process. (If you are not running Internet Explorer and allowing ActiveX then forget it.)

Now running OK but does not seem to do much beyond basic CD/DVD burning. Similar level of functionality to Nero 5 I would say. There are plenty of extras and upgrades to buy though if you want more. OK for free I suppose.

  • I have downloaded Discmaster 2 as well, had to upgrade my Active X first though, I thought it was all pretty straight forward, and yes it is free, christmas pressie methinks. Bit of a wait on dial up but worth it so far. Cheers. ;D
  • I'm using Windows XP with SP2 and set all ActiveX controls to enable.

I've gone through the registration procedure, it displays screen saying "Thank You for registering DiscMaster2" and I click the Close button. It then displays a message saying "If you want to use this product, you need to register it first".

When I run DiscMaster again it says I must register, it goes through the same procedure.

    Any suggestions?

    TIA
  • If you click on the register button you should get a new window for you to put in some personal details, after that you can start using Discmaster2, it worked for me and should be the same for everyone, hope you sort it out, good luck.  ;)

Make sure you are not blocking pop ups. This program is not really worth the hassle to be honest with you. It is very basic and there are much more better programs avaliable again for free download. You just have to look
