Savings advice

Hi All,

I am new to this. I would like to gain some advice regarding savings. The situation i am in is that my partner and i have got the deposit for a house saved approx 10k, however, i was wondering with is it worth keeping the money in a savings account as we are pretty much at the limit for our isas or should we invest in premium bonds.
Other conditions i need to take into account is that we will be looking to buy in near future i.e. within 6 months and the money needs to be fairly accessible, so was wondering which would be best? filling isa limits and and putting the rest in a savings account/premium bonds or solely premium bonds.
Any advice is widely accpeted:beer:

  • You could each put £3,600 in ISAs fairly early in April 2009
