Recommendations for a Prague Hotel please

Would be grateful of any suggestions for a nice hotel in Prague. Looking to spend about £150 for 2 nights (19th/21st March) and want to be central. I have been looking at the Icon hotel?

Stayed at the Hotel TYL - 2 years ago, a nice 3 star hotel fairly central about 10 min walk from Wencesles square. It is a 2 minute walk from metro IP pavlova and the tram for the scenic routes 22 and 23 is virtually outside the doorstep. This hotel also has excellent ratings on hotel website trip adviser
It is in a cheaper area as well and you will not get the rip off prices for restaurants as you would in wensceles square.
assume that you will stay for 2 nights and hotel is showing availability for your requested dates for around £45.00 per night including breakfast with specialist websites like hotel connect/ Travel republic

We stayed at the K + K Hotel Fenix just off Wenceslas Square in Jan 2008 for 3 nights, and it was lovely. The hotel staff were very helpful, the rooms were clean and well presented, and they had a buffet breakfast that covered all European tastes. Great deals are to be had booking through expedia etc. Would recommend - was within walking distance of most of the attractions

K+K are great. We stayed at the Central right by the Old Town....great location close to Metro, restaurants, shops etc..
The interior is incredible with a floating breakfast bar, art deco lifts and staircases.

I too stayed at the K&K a few years back. I agree wholeheartedly with the above. Super location, nice room, great breakfast. You'll be able to walk everywhere from there if you're mobile. Also booked through expedia and got a good deal.
Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...

Hotel Bellagio is a nice hotel and the price when we stayed (Dec 06) was very reasonable. Only a 5 min walk to the Old Town Square.

    Some reviews here on Tripadvisor:

I normally go through the following websites to find the best prices:

    http://www.kayak.co.uk/hotels
    http://www.hotelscomparison.com
    http://www.travelsupermarket.com/c/hotels/

You won't go far wrong by checking these 3, along with Expedia.

Andels - very modern, well located, 4*, no idea on current price as its a few years since we went and Prague prices have gone through the roof.

We had a really good deal for the Hilton a few years ago and got upgraded to the executive floor , great hotel only aboput 10/15 minutes walk from the centre but the combination of heels and cobbles made it seem like 100 miles lol ( be warned , they have cobbled everywhere and it will kill your feet )
