Being registered with an Ombudsman Scheme has been mandatory since Oct 2008. All Sales Agents have to be a member of either the OEA or RICS Ombudsman Schemes.

"Throughout the entire process Agent A was not involved"

Thats not true though is it...

I do not understand your statement. Why is it not true?

No offence but "Agency A managed to get a handful of viewings during the course of his sole agency including one applicant (the “Applicant”) who visited the property twice during the sole agency period."

Part of the "process" is the marketing of the property & the introduction of "applicants".

The said "applicant" was "introduced" the Agency A. Therfore the statement "Throughout the entire process Agent A was not involved".

Whatever the legalities of Estate Agencies & the contracts involved between you & both Agencies I have no idea.

But lets be fair to Agency A, they were involved.

Whether they are entitled to a share is another matter..
    Not Again

Am I being blind and there's a big label I've just not noticed?

Looked them up on OEA site - they used to be two sep agents and these appear to still be listed separately
