Hi everyone - we woke up to a winter wonderland this morning, huge lovely flakes of snow coming down for hours. Most unexpected, but all gone now.
Is Jo_R about today? Surely her time has come by now? Although from what I remember when I was overdue with B,the only thing worse than the waiting was everyone repeatedly asking if I'd had the baby yet, so sorry Jo_R.:o
1) LSD, just paper and milk.
2) Bought The S*n instead of the usual cos it was cheaper and had a voucher for free kitchen roll in it.
3) Packed lunch at work.
4) Made last night's dahl leftovers into a lentil loaf.
5) Scratch x 10p
6) Took T to park for free entertainment.
7) Input a coke zone code from a bottle discarded at work.
8) Bought Mum's Mother's Day present off Green Metropolis last night.I saved at least a tenner off buying it new, and it is in as new condition but I must admit I feel a bit mean.
Still, I'm sure she wouldn't want me to waste a tenner where it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference. And it is the green thing to do.
Have a good evening everyone. L x0 -
My house move is officially dead in the water wth the developer not wanting to do any part exchange or home change on the basis that it's a city centre flat I have and the've done too many of those. Oh well, looks like they can market the house I wanted for another year or so then!
Ordered my Valued Opinions reward voucher (£10 HMV) to treat myself to some new movies or DVD;
Chekced Pigsback and I'm 30 off a rewrd for them too;
Stocked up on Quorn chicken style pieces in Iceland as they were half price so bought 3 packs for £3 instead of £6. Gotta love the frozen food deals!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Hi everyone, Hope no one minds me posting, I used to post here everyday until new year. I have had a lot of problems lately and stopped posting. However, have received good news today and things are looking up. I dont now like posting all my financial details online, I have learnt the hard way, but just wanted to say hello and that your all great, thanks for support and offers of advice and stuff. I am still on the DFW track and will be overhauling my finances as a priority next, I havent mentally been in a position to do this lately and have been back on anti depressants.
I do however feel I deserve a treat after everything I have been through, it could be a holiday or something I need.
Its good to see you all still wear sparkly socks (I havent been sparkly at all in 2009, but its looking up now), and good to see andan still does long lists. Not read all posts but hope everyone is alright and you might see me about a bit more.0 -
Aww, so nice to see you painted lady, its lovely to see the old faces coming back. Glad that you are feeling better within yourself, i do remember that things were quite tough.
