Snowshoe holiday - any recommendations?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has tried a snowshoeing holiday and if so could pass on any recommendations?

We're completely open as to destination - though would prefer somewhere tranquil and smaller scale and ideally with sauna/spa/thermal facilities available.

Many thx in advance.

how about the Pyrenees? Cheap flights to Perpignan, transfer of about 1 hr 15 mins and nice resorts not full of Brits! Lots of thermal spas in the region too

see http://www.franceandbeyond.co.uk/page20.htm for information on the resorts

    Hello nellycat,

Just wanted to say many thanks for the helpful link which gives a lot of good information. This could be ideal as we could hopefully pick up cheap-ish flights too.

    Kind regards
