Virgin Media £50 Credit

Hi i was wondering if someone can help me. Four months ago i signed up for virgin media's £50 credit for signing up online deal (which is still on the website), i was advised that the credit of £50 would be on my first bill, i was also asked to pay £30 upfront and advised that i would also get a credit for that amount on my first bill.
When i got my bill throung the £30 was there but no sign of the £50 so i phoned up and the first person i spoke to said the the £30 was part of the £50 credit and i was only entitled to £20 credit on next bill.
Then the second person said that was rubbish and i would get a £50 credit after i had paid my 3rd bill.
Third bill and still no credit. when i phoned they said there is no notes about a £50 credit. looks like i was never put on the offer......what can i do??

You will constantly be fobbed off by them.

My sister and i signed up in 07 where the reward was £30 each. I was a new customer and told i would receive £30 on my account for referring new customers. My sister joined up as the £30 was the incentive she needed.

Like you bill after bill arrived and no sign of the £30. My sister rang up and was told there was nothing they could do as she was the referral, i had to ring up. I rang dept after dept being fed a load of tosh from the original form was filled out incorrectly, your sister is not one of our customers and the best one your sisters address does not exist.

I rang OFCOM for advise and they said Virgin where giving quite a few people the run around. The had had an overwhelming response to the referral scheme and would not coff up. There advise was to putit in writing that a complaint had now been isued with OFCOM and matters would be taken further if they could not resolve this. Within days i received a phone call to say my paperwork had been filled in correctly but as a good will gesture the £50 would be on my next statement. So on the next statement i checked and it was there and so was my sisters. So you may have to contact someone from outside to get anything done.
