Letter from Eon

I've had a letter from Eon today advising that my EnergyOnline Extra Saver deal which I signed up to last year ends on 1 April 2009. They are going to transfer me to the EnergyOnline deal.

Bearing in mind the 9% drop from 31 March, how is this new EnergyOnline deal likely to compare to the EnergyOnline Extra Saver deal?

Have you considered switching away from eon? Work out (or ask eon) how many kwh of elec and gas you use annually and put those figures into a price comparison site.

You can put in your current tariff too and you'll see how much more/less other eon tariffs will be and how much you could save with another supplier. By the time you've done all that, it only a few more clicks to switch - and you could get some cashback too.

    Hi,

I'd take a look at the prices online, the extra saver prices normally offer more discounts.

As Magentasue says, you can also use the comparison sites, if you need your usage you can contact E.ON and just ask for it.

If you would like me to give you details on the extra saver prices and a comparison between the two, you can PM me with your house number and post code and I will let you know.

    Thanks

    Helena:)

Why do you need the persons house number to do a price comparison. In fact you don't even need their postcode, just their regional electricity area.
