I bought a MP3 player from Asda and paid £16 for it. On unemployment, that is a lot of money. It is saying something about an error of some sort. Anyway, I have the receipt and the guarantee. Asda say I must have the packaging as well, but I don't tend to hang on to packaging because it makes clutter and I have enough clutter as it is. I would love to get this replaced or fixed as it is the only one I know of which is just plugged into the back of the computer so you don't need a cable to add more songs. But can they insist on me returning the packaging with the MP3 player

I will go back to Asda, and nicely ask them to replace my MP3 Player. I would love a new one. If that doesn't work, I will email head office. If that doesn't work, I will speak to trading standards. I hope it won't get that far. Thanks, you were a big help:money:

Went back to Asda, already to give them a hard time, using what you told me and asked her if I could return the MP3 player without the packaging. She said certainly, as long as I have the driver disc and the cable. The driver disc I will have to hunt, for, but this MP3 player plugs straight into the computer so the cable won't be a problem to worry about. Thanks for your help. I would have messed it up and lost the money. I appreciate it.
