Whistling Noise Comming From Combi Boiler

When our combi boiler first fires up there is a whistling noise comming from it, it seems as though once the heating has got to the temperature it needs to it then goes quiet. Has anyone got any ideas as to what this could be,
Thankyou Kaz

my old boiler used to do that because the screws on the inner cowling of the boiler (the one that encloses the flame) were loose/worn. Bought new screws + clips for about £1.50 and no more noise
