£20 off MOT... I think!

Hi all

Whilst doing a car insurance quote through Hastings Direct earlier, there was an option to fill in MOT date for a £20 discount on an MOT voucher for use in Nationwide Autocentres.

"If you get your car insurance quote through us, tell us your MOT renewal date and you will receive a £20 MOT voucher to redeem at any Nationwide Autocentre"

Get a quote here:
http://www.hastingsdirect.com/car-insurance/
Find local nationwide autocentre here:
http://www.nationwideautocentres.co.uk/Home.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

They also take Clubcard deals vouchers for the MOT fee, you might be able to combine both sets of vouchers if you don't have enough Clubcard deals. Paid with deals for our MOT yesterday - shame it didn't cover the £350 in repairs

Anyway, I hope this works for people. The wording suggests it's for getting a quote so big apologies if it's only for buying a quote. Although they also do cashback on Quidco if anyone is planning to use them.

HTH :)

I would rather pay full price somewhere I trust. ;)
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Only the kind of jobs that they can do, though!

Just had my Peugeot 406 MOT done by Nationwide Autocentre in Norwich. I had a similar voucher printed off from the Autotrader website. I was debating to myself whether to use the voucher or not (I didn't want to use the voucher and get a bill for £200 of stuff that "needed" fixing).

Anyhow, couldn't be happier - £33.10 total for the test and no work needed at all - not even an advisory.

So they're clearly not all out to get you! :)
  • got my car MOT'd through Nationwide and passed first time. Car is up for a service and was going to take it here - shall i look elsewhere?

    Thanks
