Vinegar? It is supposed to dissolve the glue. According to my OH (when I was trying to remove the glue from jars), you either need something acidic or alkaline to disolve the glue, depending on what time it is...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

If you have any eucalyptus oil in the house that is good for removing sticky residues. Put a few drops on a cloth and gently rub, it softens the residue and if you keep rubbing it will come off. If it's really sticky then maybe a second application of oil will be needed.0

Vinegar or nail varnish remover and a green scratcher. Usually works and lino will stand up to the treatment I am sure.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Do you have WD40? Apparently that is very good in dissolving the glue as well. (sorry, not sure if that is ok on line, just thinking about the glue side...)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
