I have a number of credit cards:
I have been granted a £5k loan to pay of the majority of the cards.
This loan is with Black Horse:
APR 33.9
5 years@ 160.70 - Reviewed every 6 months
I have a poor credit rting 1 x CCJ, 2 x Defaults, arrangments plans on all cards.
I have strugled to get any reduced full and finals of the creditors except for RBS and YB / Cabot.
Most creditors just dont want to know. :-(
Any thoughts on my situation before I sign to this loan greatley appreciated.
Thank you,
Richie

Yes Im glad I didnt, I was near desperation.
I will be debt free in say 6 months and also by the time Im out of my fixed term mortgage next may I will have a clean credit rating to, which means better deals on my mortgage.
I have noticed my credit rating increase over say the past 4 or so months as my debt has reduced.
I even obtained a new phone on a contract after having a credit search done by O2.
Again a good sign !!
Feeling alot better than I did a year ago.
And one last thing, spooky really, its a year ago to the date "almost" that I first posted.
Regards
Rich
