Ryan Air

Hi

I was trying to make a booking with Ryan Air but everytime I tried to pay for it with my credit card I kept getting an error message from their website saying that the transaction could not go through/timed out.

In the end I gave up and booked with easyjet.

Yesterday while checking my emails I noticed - to my horror- a confirmation email from Ryan Air for the very same booking that wouldn't go through.

I have called explaining what happened but they don't want to know and will not give me a refund. So now I have 2 flights booked for the same destination on the same day!!!
I have sent them a letter and contacted trading standards.

Anybody had a similar experience?
