Should I buy RBS or Barclays shares?

If I buy RBS shares at 22p or Barclays at 85p, what compensation could I expect to get back from the government if each bank was nationalised?

If you bought shares in any company today and tomorow the government are talking about nationalisation I can bet you now that the big boys will hear about it before you do and the share price will plumet as they take their cash. Whats left is what the government will offer as compensation0
