GIZZOO radiator boosters

Just before Christmas I bought 4 radiator boosters from Gizzoo. They are plastic tubes that you lay across the top of your radiator and the little fans circulate the hot air into the room thus making the radiator more efficient. 4 of them cost £80
Only 1 turned up so I complained and they sent the rremaing 3
I tried one and it was noisy. Not hugely noisy, but when on top of the radiator, it was annoyingly noticeable and we had to turn the TV up. As all 4 were for the 1 room I wanted to return them. The marketing stuff from Gizzoo said they were "virtually silent" so I wanted to return them as "not as advertised" and "not fit for the purpose"
I had to go into hospital urgently so a friend posted them back for me. Gizzoo say that that took 7 weeks. I know the post can be slow but I can't say how long it took as it was not me who posted them.

Gizzoo said they could not refund me as I had taken 7 weeks to return them.
Then they said they had tested them and they were not noisy.
Then they said they could not refund me as they were not in the original packaging.
Then they said they could not refund me because the manufacturer would not take them back as they were not in the original packaging.
Then they said they could not refund me as they no longer sold the same boosters. They were now selling the improved version which their marketing material says are "whisper quiet". Surely that is an admisson that the previous model was noisy?
Today they said they will offer me £40 in credit notes to shop with them again.
I am due to go back into hospital soon for more treatment and am exhausted at trying to deal with them. It is hard to respond to an email from their "customer service" department as it bounces back and refers you to the parent company Serif in Germany and you have to have an account number to get that to work - which I don't have.

Has anybody else had problems with these radiator boosters or with Gizzoo?
Any help or advice please. Thanks.
