I have been paying Orange care insurance for my phone for about 9/10 years! For which I have been paying £5.00 a month. My phone, now just over 6 months old, is faulty and they are charging me a £15.00 admin fee!!
Can they do this?

Not sure as an orange employee i should be telling you this, but... the fee is for delivery, as you will receive a new phone within 24 hours of your claim being accepted, to whatever address you want it to in the UK. However, if this is the first time you've claimed, it will normally be waived, especially if you complain. However, it is at the discretion of the customer service rep you speak to, and it is in you terms and conditions of the insurance, but I know plenty of people, including myself who have had it waived.0

O2 charge £25, so Orange are still better value in that respect. Not saying I agree with it (I don't, I think the cost should be absorbed by the insurance payments), but sadly all the mobile networks are clawing back money wherever they can.0

I've never paid the £15 fee, any of the times I've claimed - most recently a couple of months ago - mine have all been lost/stolen rather than faulty - perhaps that makes a difference0
