PC going so slow-please help

My home pc seems to be running slow, Ive deleted everything I can think of, old files, etc etc..I also know how to delete temp internet files and browsing history, but theres got to be something else I can do to clean it up a bit and make it go as fast as it used to without calling in the expensive experts...anyone any ideas? thankyou

Yes unless you have downloaded another firewall, i use online armor firewall and pc tools on 2 different machines and both firewalls are very good
