Did you register just to say that?
Seriously?
I have offered good sound advice.
What would be mean would be to give the OP false hope or to let them carry on in their dreamworld of financial naivity where no-one takes responsibilty for their actions.
And to date, I'm actually the only poster who has told "bumpy" where they need to go to progress their complaint.
Yes - really "mean""One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -

Although the chance of success is very low as the insurance company does not have the ability to mind read. The only one with a potential liability is the adviser. However, there is no indication that an adviser has been used. If not, then the consumer takes on the liability as is normal when you DIY.
You would be relying on the goodwill of the insurer and they may very well refund if they think you are genuine. However, they don't have to.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
They mention "broker" in the first post so I assume they mean adviser, if thats the case then speak to them as per the previous posters advice and ask them to sort it out0
