Reclaiming bank charges - can you do this on closed accounts?

During my younger years I most definitely incurred charges on a couple of accounts, once I came to my senses and started earning more did I pay off the debts and start again.

I've watched closely as the bank charges news rumbles on, now Im wondering whether or not I can reclaim charges from my mis managed youth?

Problem is that I can barely remember when I was with the banks let alone how many charges I incurred. Is this going to be a problem?

If you get a copy of your credit report from experian/equifax it will show you who you have had accounts with in the last six years and will have addresses on there for them so that you can request copies statements etc.
    Hope this helps.
    Good luck
