Ryanair question on check in for NON-European passport holders

From 19 March online check-in will be extended to all passengers, even those with non-EU/EEA passports and those with baggage to check in. So I suppose this answers the OP's question.

First on the point of check-in for non EU citizens. I hold a U.S. passport and when I tried to claim my check-in fee back I was informed that it would inure a £20 "administration fee". Come on Alan, where are you, I am calling that a CON with a capital C, lets here you defend that one.
Next on the discussion on people buying numerous 1p tickets and not using them. Well the chicken has come home to roost at last. For a long time now I have regarded this site as a "loophole" rather than a moneysaving site. So none of you complaining about people buying up all the cheep flights and increasing the cost for others has never made numerous claims for spouses and children when a new bank offers you £20 for opening an account, only to find that 1,000's of MSE'ers have made them close the offer down within hours of the weekly email going out, so stopping genuine people from taking up the offer, or other loopholes disused on here to dishonestly obtain services or money, because make no bones about it, you may try and dress it up as a loophole, but dishonesty is what it is. My heart bleeds for you, not.
You can fall for all the tricks this scum of a guy O'leary throws at you to try and claw back a little profit with his disregard for our advertising laws, by purposely making his website a minefield for the unwary or unsavey to the tricks, but my concious won't allow me to.The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

That's odd. There's no mention of a £20 admin fee on the Ryanair website. I've claimed the airport check-in fee back 6 times in total, on behalf of my non-EEA family members. Each and every time the airport check-in fee has been refunded right away and in full.0 -
Could be another occasion of left hand right hand. I asked at the checkin desk to have the fee refunded, was told that I had to phone the premium rate number, phone that and was given address of the place in Dublin but when I pressed if there would be a fee, the agent said it would be £20, so I never took it any further. I only flew with them once so never asked again. The fact of there not being any reference to a fee on the site was what prompted me to call it a con, so I stand corrected by someone who has gone through the process. That's odd. And you wrote to the address in Dublin, is that correct?0
