Very dull question about moneysupermarket

I'm trying to get a car insurance quote from moneysupermarket.com. However, when I get to the "Occupation details" section of the form and select "employed/self-employed", it doesn't allow me to enter my job title or business sector - those boxes remain greyed out. Of course, when I click continue, it tells me to correct the error and fill in my job title/business sector. It's most annoying. Has anyone else had this problem and/or do you know a workaround?

Sorry, I told you it was a dull question.

I had this was I was doing a quote to have a fish around on there under my alter ego "Paddy O'Furniture" (I normally give ironic phone numbers for NU overseas call centres to ring and ask for Mr Paddy O'Furniture, childish but it amuses me).

I spent quite a while on their and I'm used to using quote systems, there is a really obscure box or something you have to tick on it to enter your occupation. Try clicking the back button and then submit to go back to that page, thats how I got past it.

just tried it and it works ok for me when i select "employed/self-employed"

the problem you're getting i can see happening when i select "Unemployed" , "retired", "Housewife" and "student" but then again that's what you'd expect for them options i suppose.

sorry not to be of more help

Worked for me today, using the same browser on the same computer. Must have just been a glitch. Gave me rubbish quotes, though!
