m&s, rubbish flowers and worse customer services

ok on the big scale of things, this isnt a bad deal, but im peeved enough to let other know... my partner ordered me £35 worth of flowers online from M&S, they arrived on the 11th, but by the 15th they were seriously wilting even tho i had taken great care to keep them in a cool room etc etc.
i emailed m&s who responded quickly, apologised and offered a refund whicn i accepted. I took dated photos of the flowers if they wanted to see them but were not required.
2 weeks later still no refund, emailed them again, no reply... left it 3 days, telephoned the, to be told by some "irk" that we hadnt had a refund because we werent getting one as the flowers were only guaranteed 7 days.
I explained about the email and the flowers were seriously wilting within 5 days, still he was adamant there was no refund and the reason we hadnt had a reply to emails was because we werent getting a refund.
I asked to speak to a manager, he put me on hold, came back to me and said ok you can have a refund and put the phone down.
insensed i phoned back to complain about their CS and the woman said i dont see your problem as you now have your refund..../ GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr how very RUDE:mad::eek:

Hm i would send them a letter detailing how bad their CS is! Funny, they were saying on Loose Women this morning how in this country we really are not service orientated, there is hardly ever such thing as 'service with a smile' attitude here. The staff think they are doing you a favor! :rotfl:
I think if you wrote to the Head office they would do something lol or maybe not.0
