Car hire in the UK for a week - any suggestions?

New to the site - did a searh but nothing concrete came out. I need a car for 4 days, from and returning to Stansted Airport in March.

Any tips for cheap UK car hire for a week?

Autoreservation.com seems to be cheapest so far, any boday used them at all?

Any help appreciated - keep up the good work folks :-)

Stansted is an ultra competitve location and hence there are some good deals to be had.

Incidentally, I am pretty certain that UK citizens can join foreign (within the EU) driving clubs - I am an expat in Austria with membership of the local ÖAMTC (equivalent of the UK A) - full Europe wide breakdown cover is included as part of my membership and in the UK the partner company is the AA anyway - just thought this might be interest to folks trying to save money on the RAC and AA for breakdown cover in the UK.

HERTZ have a ofder code on the code websites,i have been searching for car hire for 3 days and out of everyone it is coming up cheapest.
only thing is that when you put te code in in keeps saying to ring to make the booking
