Hi
I have just been given a 2nd hand swan 3.5l slow cooker from my auntie after tidying out her kitchen. Really chuffed about getting it, wanted one for ages!!!
It's really dirty and not sure what to clean it with as my auntie isn't the cleanest/tidiest person ever so it has probably been sitting in the cupboard all grimy for a good few months! I have had a look in the booklet that she gave me for it and it says to only clean with hot soapy water but really don't think that will do much!!
I'm going to give it a go in the morning but thought some of you intelligent folks might have some handy tips.
Also, I'm not sure where to start with cooking with it! I've got some food to use with it, frozen sausages, a turkey joint and various vegetables. My booklet doesn't have any recipes so thought you guys might be able to point me in the right direction for some good simple recipes?
thanks everyone, I'm sure you will have heard these questions before but couldn't find any answers on a search.
Thanks!!!
