Halifax Mort PP

I have been trying since October to get mortgage Protection payments from the Halifax. It is like talking to a bunch of morans. Every time I chase it up they contradict each other and don't seem to keep at accurate record of what has been agreed and it's like starting all over again. When I send the agreed confirmation they have asked for, they then change their minds and say it's not good enough and request something else.
It has become a nightmare as I am paying my mortgage out of benefits and getting into debts in other areas.
Is there someone I can complain to about this to try to get them to finally settle the claim?

You complain to the Halifax and if they are unable to resolve the complaint to your satisfaction, then you have the right at that point to refer your case to the FOS. Not before you give Halifax a chance though.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
