Is there any chance of nabbing the dvd without having to contribute to Murdoch's coffers and his evil empire as the thought of mugging a passing paperboy is much more palatable to me.0

Well I get all mine free.
I hand in a selection of newspaper and magazine money off coupons & vouchers to my friendly newsagent.
Done this for at least 3 years probably averaging at least £10 worth per week.
In addition I occasionally have a secondary source at another newsagent I know.
This all depends on there being excess stock at the point the shop closes on a Saturday or Sunday (doesn't usually apply to weekdays).
When counting up all the different unsold newspapers for their return to the wholesaler, they usually remove all the supplements and magazines and flyers and extra sections etc to make the pile lighter and easier to bundle up.
All these go into a bin in the shop which in turn gets dumped into a large wheelie bin down the side of the shop.
This is behind a tall gate but it is never locked (don't even think there is a lock)
The guy I normally deal with from the weekend staff told me as such that they don't care what happens to the "rubbish" once it has been thrown away !
He was the same person who told me the gate was never locked.
Now that sounded like an invitation to me !!!There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

Was at the petrol station this morning and saw the Donnie darko offer - i've got the original but this version is the directors cut - a slight edit that I believe makes the story a bit easier to understand (it is a bit of a mind-trip). Great film. The DVD is in a paper case inside the glossy sections of the paper.0

That film is well weird. I couldn't work it out until I went to http://darkomovie.proboards24.com/index.cgi?board=ending
I resolved never to worry about another film that wasn't self-contained. If I have to read a book, website, blog or whatever to understand it, it can get lost.
