Mothers Day gifts in School
Options
Our PTA have decided to hold a secrets room for our children to choose a gift for their special person. For £1 they will be able to choose from a selection of presents and wrap and write a small card. We have designed a free certificate for those children who do not bring any money. We bought quite a few gifts from Superdrug, toiletries, candles etc when they were promoting in January for 49p however we need to find about 100 more! One idea is to try to source cheap bunches of flowers, not sure where to start. Any ideas? Just wondered if anyone has seen any great offers around? Needs to be under 60p each for us to make a small profit! Advice if you have held this event would also be appreciated.

Our school do this every Christmas and it works really well. However, a week before children are asked to bring in a donation. Could be anything from unwanted smellies to a second hand book.0

Sometimes Pound Shops have multiple packs of things which you can split.
Or there may be a bargain shop near where you live, in Bristol it would be Rajani's.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
we currently run a secret shop at our fund-raising and as you all say they are very popular.
we sell many things but one of our more popular is Avon products.
we have a Avon rep who gets regular deal sent to her with the Avon catalogues, you maybe able to contact Avon direct or ask a local rep.
also tesco asda are very good at discounting end of lines that are seasonal eg mothers & fathers day you may be able to pick up iems that have not sold for that day.
