Dividends

Hi,
with so many companies now reducing their dividend payouts or cancelling them altogether, how is it possible to find high yielding shares & the dates on which the dividends are paid?
Are there any websites that would give this info in a user/novice friendly manner?
Many thanks,
MT

I don't know where you can get a list of highest dividend payers.

However if you find a company you can find stuff on Yahoo.

    http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=VOD.L

    Div Yield: 6.28%
    Div Payment: 7.59
    Ex-Dividend Date: 19-Nov-08

Also it doesn't say when the dividend is actually paid (but it was last month or January)
