first of hello and thanx for taking the time to read this. i need help as for where to go and what to say to virgin-
heres what happened
on saturday 28th feb i attempted to top up my mobile using 789 with a pre registered debit card as usual for £10- on completing the information required it advised me that it hadnt gone through and i was welcome to try a different debit card. knowing that i had money in my account i thought it unusual and tried a further 3 times all to be told the same message" unfortunately your top attempt hasnt been successfull this time please try again using a different card or speak to one of our advisors."
however after checking my bank account today all the payments have been taken out totalling £40!!!! i now have no money left and have gone overdrawn (this luckily ive been informed wont be charged) the advice i got from virgin was to fax through a statement and have now been told a refund will take up to 14 working days. in the meantime they gave me 10 free texts and 20 minutes -GENEROUS!!! does anybody have any advice as to what i should say surely i deserve something for all the inconvienience???? how do i go about getting anything and my refund quicker.
thanx in advance guys x

As you have said that you are not gonna be charged bank charges and as they are refunding you, there is nothing further that they have to offer you. They have offered you the texts and mins as an act of goodwill, which is beyond what they have to.0 -

Virgin have processed a refund, AND have given you free texts and minutes.
Virgin CS is quite good, if not the best. But they have gave you compo and you have accepted it (The free mins and texts)
I would ring up and say you cant live on that much (Free mins and text) And that you need the money ASAP for a bill. If they still say the 14 day thing, just say it takes others 3 days.
I would then give a hint ur upset and might leave.0 -
best plan is always tell them that you are very upset with their service and plan to go to another provider, this usually gets you a lot fo stuff.2012 Wins - Danepak Fridge Magnet, £20 Just Eat Voucher, iTunes Song Download, Yellow Toaster and Kettle, Thorntons Bunny, 6 Months Gym Membership, £250 Multipower Products, 3 X Dalepak Vouchers, 10 minute sunbed session, Lucozade Sport, 2 X BMI Flights, Android Zeemote,0
