Hi
Is there any bank where you can go into the branch and open an account in person?
It all seems to be online or over the phone, and then you have to send off your documents. I'd rather do it the old fashioned way!
Thanks

Lloyds TSB, NatWest - firstly go in and say you want to set up a business account, they will give you some bumpf to take away and read and they will give you a number to ring, you ring and make the appointment to go into the branch and set up your account. That's how I did it when I set up mine.0 -
HSBC for us.
'phoned and made an appointment with their local business advisor and duly went in and signed up - all very pleasant and well explained with no hard sell. 18 months free banking provided.0 -

When the 18 month period ends, and depending on the cash flow of your business (and how the money comes in to it, cheques, BACS, cash etc), then they should offer you free banking permanently....with a Fair Usage Policy. Certain amount of cheques, certain amount of turnover as well I think.0 -
Thanks fguk.
Was intending to negotiate or alk away after the 18 months.0
