Disney Water Parks

I already have a 5 day Park pass but probably use all these 5 days on non-water parks. I want to be able to visit Typhoon Lagoon - can one just buy tickets at the gate ? Is the price reasonable ? Is there another alternative available to me eg. 2 day (wouldn't want anymore) hopper pass. Many thanks.

as far as i know, the 5 day hopper pass (if this is what you have got) includes 5 days at non- water parks + 2 days at water parks or pleasure island - this was definately the case in 2004 - unless it has now changed. i'd check the details with whoever you bought then from.

yes the 5 day tickets do allow water park visits but I don't think I'll be able to go during those 5 days so need other tickets.

you don't have to go during the 5 days, in fact i don't think there is alimit at all as to when you have to go, because what we did was buy a 5 day hopper pass (which included 2 days at waterparks in addition to 5 days at disney), we used 3 days at disney and 1 at typhoon lagoon, then came home and gave the pass to a work colleague who was going about 3 months later - she then used the 2 disney days and 1 day at typhoon lagoon. Sorry if this has since changed or i am missing something but as far as i know this is correct!!

Edit: Ok, I just did quick google search cos u have me wondering now! Looks like it has changed since i went but you would still be able to go to the waterparks on your ticket for up to 14 days after the first use. The 5 day hopper pass appears to expire (ie for disney parks and water parks) 14 days after 1st use, but there is an option to upgrade the non-waterpark elements so that they are valid for life.)
In addition, you can go to the waterparks up to 4 times , in addition to your 5 days at non-water parks, as long as you do this within 14 days of the first time you use the hopper pass!
Sorry if thats as clear as mud - it makes sense to me!! - Just google disney 5 day hopper pass and you will get loads of sites coming up. :)

thanks for your help. Maybe I can look into extending the 5 day passes. I think I will using all 5 days going to the other parks hence none left for the water parks.

amc1, see my edited post above, if its a 5 day hopper pass, I am SURE the water parks are included , and don't have to be taken as one of the 5 days!

thanks for your checks. I check out the T&Cs.
  • You can go to waterparks anytime in 14 days but if you have 5 day pass you are limited to 4 days at waterpark in total!
    See here for details.

You can buy tickets at any park in Orlando but they cost a lot more and it is definitely better buying tickets in UK, that is cheaper than any booths or anything over there.

    Hope this helps.
