I am new to BG and needed to make an adjustment to my dd. I rang this morning, got through very quickly and spoke to a lovely lady who made tha adjustment without any problem. I must say that I feel relieved after all the horrible things I have read about BG on here
I just want to add that I took my reading to cover 12 weeks, found the price tariff for click energy 6 and did the relevant sums, so no nasty shocks for me. I really cannot understand why anyone of average intelligence cannot do the same in ordfer to keep track of outgoings

How brave of you to come onto this forum and praise BG; in some poster's eyes it is akin to praising Al-Qaeda;)0

On the contrary, Hugh, my last dealings with a lady in their call centre was entirely pleasant and productive and I'm sure I posted as such several months ago. Only problem being she was the only competent member of staff I have spoken to in approx 10 attempts. I hope BG keep hold of her.
When you get a senior staff member in retentions telling you, yes, it is fine to just have gas on their 2011 fixed tariff (you emphatically can't, BTW, something *I* had to inform him of) then one does sort of lose faith somewhat in the comapny's training.
One can only post one's *personal* experiences, of course. I also accept that negative views are usually the ones that get posted more than positive views (something you are also entirely guilty of in certain threads, lol) so the reader should try and maintain a balance at all times.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
British Gas have been good with adjusting DD's for me too, in Jan I submitted a request for it to be looked at via online billing as I felt it was too high, and the next day they called me and agreed, and that it would come down at the next DD, which it did.
Just had my 2nd DD after that, and I find it's been reduced a bit further, lovely.0
