Can't access MSE at all.!!

Hi, could someone please help me with a real pain of a problem I have?

I'm currently writing using my husband's computer as I just can't get to the forum using mine. I'm perfectly ok in reaching the MSE home page, but whenever I try to get to the Forum itself I get the following message:

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Does any of the above help you to know what might be wrong? If so, can you please help me to get back on the board?

All other web sites I've been to are perfectly ok. The only other thing that's different is: Since putting a new Java update on, every time I go to close down my PC, Spybot throws up a message saying ActiveX wants to get into my PC (orsimilar wording) - but - instead of there being both the normal "Allow" and "Deny" options the "Deny" one is not highlighted, making me think it's suspicious. So I close down without touching it. Any ideas if the 2 are connected?

Firefox? You need to clear your Cache etc. Tools, Options, Privacy, Private data.

isofa

or you could run the excellent (and free) CCleaner that'll clear everything out so you can start a fresh.

{Edit} I'm needing to Edit here espresso and isofa as the below Cache clearing did work when I did it first, BUT, next time on and exactly the same problem as before! So, I went through it all again, then ran the ccleaner to see if that would do it, but no! Please, if you can think of anything else it may be I'd be so grateful for the help.

Thanks so very much espresso and isofa!!! It's done the trick simply with the clearing of the Cache and I'm so very grateful for your help. I do use FF by the way.

I already have the ccleaner isofa and wil run it through to make sure there's nothing else left lurking.
