After coming onto MSE I select which forum I want to read but I get thrown off to a site :
DNS Error - Server cannot be found
I click back arrow & site is back up & from here I can view a thread. Click into a thread again Error message appears, click back arrow & I can read the thread I require but once I click out to forum it all happens again & again.
Hope I have made it clear as it only happens on MSE. This is quite recent, past week, doesn't happen on hotdeals, PTS or the like & lots of other forums I frequent.
Any Ideas?

Sounds like your ISP's DNS servers are up the creak.
Consider switching to OpenDNS. It's quick and easy to do.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

use the IP address rather than the DNS name0

Another fan of OpenDNS here - I switched about a month ago and haven't looked back.0

Thanks for the replies. I am clueless with techie stuff so will look into the options suggested.0

Go to the configuration web page for your router e.g. http://192.168.1.1 (or whatever it is), login and go to the DNS settings. Change the two DNS servers to the following: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
There are easy-to-follow instructions for all types of router at this site - https://www.opendns.com/start/router/
That's all you need to do and you are then using OpenDNS instead of your ISP's DNS. You will probably not need to make any changes to your computer as it will most likely be using DHCP to automatically obtain its internet connection settings from the router.0
