The carpark by my work is owned by secure carparks recently a new sign went up with new charges. on the sign although it says charges are at all times it also says charges from 8am-6pm so everyone has been slightly confused so friday night everyone on the carpark got a ticket! My boss managed to get a picture of the sign before the parking "warden" tried to scrape it off after he had ticketed everyone.
if i dont pay this fine and it goes to court will it be laughed out?
not sure what i actually do now ?

Eeek!! Penalty Charge Notice??? That is a term solely for use by the authorities, and I am in no doubt that they are breaking the law by issuing these. Is the envelope a yellow one saying "Penalty Charge Notice" too?
Don't pay, tell everyone at work about the scam, and you need to get your employers to do something about this bunch of cowboys.0 -
yes it was a black and yellow penalty charge sticky envelope thingy
its nothing to do with my employers though its just the private carpark that we all use.getting married 12/3/09

Ah. OK. So your employers can't do anything.
Still, what they are doing is very possibly criminal, and TS may be interested.
I'd suggest a visit to the parking forum at https://www.pepipoo.com for further advice.0
