Cancelling KLM ticket - tax refund?

I need to cancel a ticket for a long-haul flight with KLM, via Amsterdam. The ticket was a non-flexible / non-refundable one, but I gather that the tax can be recouped? The trouble is I can't work out from the e-ticket what is actually tax, and what relates to other charges, but it is a considerable amount, more than the fare itself. I wonder if anyone can shed any light on this before I call KLM as I don't want to be fobbed off (as I know some airlines try to do
). Any expert opinions would be gratefully received.
This is what the e-ticket says:
FARE AMOUNT: GBP 310.00
TAX/FEES/CHARGES: GBP 256.50YR 40.00GB 63.30XT
TOTAL AMOUNT: GBP 669.80
RESTRICTIONS: NONENDO/NONREF SURCHARGES AND/OR FEES COLLECTED ARE SHOWN AS TAX CODE OA/OB/YR/YQ ON YOUR TICKET. SURCHARGES AND FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
YR/YQ TAX IS NON REFUNDABLE ONLY IN CASE OF A NON-REFUNDABLE FARE.
Are they saying that the £256.50 is non-refundable? And, if so, why? What would these "surcharges and/or fees" be that would amount to so much (nearly as much as the fare itself)?

From the taxes that can be refunded on this ticket, the admin fee will swallow up much of it. Don't expect to get a lot back. Sorry!0

Give them a ring and ask for a refund of whatever they can give you. I understand your worries but in a previous thread a while back I remember someone saying AF/KLM were very reasonable and actually refunded more than he had expected them to, so I think you'll be pretty safe.0
