uk Car hire and day in calais

Hi all,
Ok going to stay in a haven camp near folkestone in june ..... planning to go for a day trip to calais (first time) on eurotunnel.
Q1. Does anyone know where i can get a decent car hire deal that will allow me to drive into France for a day?
Q2. How easy a place is calais to get round? Never driven on the continent before .... probably just visit some of the shops ... not really bothered about fags or booze so is it worth paying a trip to the place in belgium?
Any other advice or suggestions welcome.

calais is easy to get around and good fun. the shops are nice , they have stuff on internet for markets ect and the hypermarket s are fun, and worth a look at for bargains.you always need cheapo wine for pressies or taking to partys have fun you will love it0
