Kirkland/Costco dog food price!!

Just got back from my monthly trip to Costco - Kirkland Lamb dog food now £22 + VAT!!!!!!!!! It was only £15 or so plus VAT a couple of months ago, and about £18 last month - that's nearly a 50% increase!!!
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I noticed the Arden Grange I buy has gone up from £28 to £35. I figure dog food increases are down to the increase in the cost of cereals? I know I can no longer afford to buy my preferred range of muesli so thats so dear now0
